Caregiver Training

  • Caregiver training in ABA equips parents and guardians with essential skills to support individuals with behavioral challenges. Through structured sessions, caregivers learn behavior management techniques, reinforcement strategies, and how to teach their child skills outside of ABA therapy. This empowers families to promote positive behavior change and enhance their loved ones' quality of life.

  • We incorporate elements of the RUBI curriculum and ACHIEVE curriculum- Both are structured parent training protocols that offer practical strategies for parents of children with disruptive behaviors. These curriculums help caregivers learn foundational ABA skills, which can help with behavior management, encourage positive interactions, and improve social and emotional functioning for all. By empowering parents with these tools, Atlas aims to enhance family dynamics and improve the well-being of children with behavioral needs.

  • Families working with Atlas Behavior Consulting should expect to receive at least 1-hour of dedicated caregiver training each month. Depending on your insurance, you may be eligible to receive up to 3 hours of caregiver training per month.

  • Our caregiver training model functions best in an environment you can focus in! We can meet in your home or at Basecamp, our therapy center, which provides the unique opportunity to observe your child during their ABA session. Unfortunately due to insurance restrictions, caregiver training can’t be provided through telehealth services.
